What is CVE-2026-58279?

CVE-2026-55040 is a weak authentication vulnerability in Microsoft SharePoint that allows an unauthorized attacker to bypass a security feature over a network. Exploitation could grant an attacker unauthorized access to a SharePoint server. Applying the official Microsoft security update for the affected systems is recommended.
